July Update

July 9th, 2012

So, mostly I just wanted to let everybody know that I’m alive. It’s been… *gasp!* 19 days since my last post. I’ve been busy sending out postcards, putting up posters, and even doing some door-to-door. Life as usual for the young man who wants to fix bikes in developing countries.

As a landmark for everyone, I’m on the verge of buying a plane ticket for India. I’m working out the kinks with my contact at India Cycle Service (eg is it good to arrive on a weekday, etc) but hope to buy a ticket by the end of the month. Anyways, that will only be… seven months in advance. So much time! I’m sure it will be here before I know it.

Anyways, thanks to all who have donated, and to those waiting for the right time — cheesy but true — it’s right now! Do it!

Kyle, out.

P.S. If you want to leave a comment, start by clicking on the title of this post. Then scroll down to the bottom and the comment form should be there.

P.P.S. For those of you interested, I’ve started another blog for my other major adventure: biking from Tacoma, WA to Minneapolis, MN.
